Setup cannot copy the file shell32.dll

I'm tryting to do a clean install of Win XP and during setup I keep
getting the message: "Setup cannot copy the file Shell32.dll"

Any direction on what I might do to deal with this would be greatly
appreciated.

Make sure that the CD is clean and not scratched. Also, make sure you are
using retail media and not a copy of a WinXP CD.
