Settings to CD-RW

I am trying to back up my XP settings using File & Xfer Wizard. I want to
put them on a CD-RW but the only option that I’m offered is transferring to a
floppy. I’ve tried going to the “New Computer†option and create a Wizard
Disc†but again the only media option is a floppy.

In the interim I’m xferring the settings to a desktop folder and then
xferring to a CD-RW.

Any ideas on how to transfer directly to a CD-RW.

Thanks

Use EasyCD Creator or Nero 6. XP cannot do the job by itself.

FASTW will not work directly with a CDRW. You need to save the file
first and then burn it to a CDR or CDRDW disk.

See MVP Gary Woodruff's article on using FASTW at

Good luck
