You need to use the public IP of the DSL router/modem. You also need to make
sure both TCP Port 1723 is forwarded to the VPN server PC and that the DSL
router/modem passes GRE Protocol 47 traffic. You can test this using the
"PPTP Ping" and "VPN Traffic" sections on this page...

ipchicken gives you the wan IP, that's what you want if you're going to
be at work and trying to connect to your home. ipconfig will give you
the lan ip 192.168.xxx.xx that's for internal use.
