setting up outlook to receive mail from Comcast (.pst)

How do I set up my outlook 2003 to get my mail from Comcast -- I have all the
settings right and the communication to the server has been established, I
think there is some type of .pst file routing problem -- I did not change the
path when I set up communications, but No mail gets frmo my comcast inbox to
my Outlook inbox -- I can send mail from Outlook 2003 fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use comcast daily without problems. What information did you use to set
up your comcast mail account? Have you checked the web to ensure you have
it set up correctly, including any authentication requirements?

Thank you for your reply. My problem is not with Comcast -- I am setting this
up on a friends computer and This friend knows nothing as far as computers
go. She wants her incomming e-mail to be readable when she opens up outlook
2003. Her mailbox from Comsast is normal -- the problem is getting the mail
files from comsast to Outlook 2003 inbox -- As far as authentication
requirements go, I set up none -- the communication to the SMTP and POP3
servers are functioning -- I think there is something going on with the file
path -- when I set it up on Outlook 2003, I had it route to the default path
(ithink it was called personal folder) it is a .pst file path that is
supposed to route your Comcast mail directly to your personal folder in your
Outlook 2003. Nothing is there though.

I am stumped because setting up My personal Outlook express with Comcast was
a piece of cake. I have been trying to do this outlook 2003 setup with no
such luck. Again, insight is appreciated.Thanks.
