Setting up meetings with another user

I am unable to set up meetings with another Outlook 2003 user (on another
network).

I have set "Resource Scheduling" to "automatically accept meetings, but
meeting requests only arrive as an email with no option to enter on my
calendar.

Also, when I send a meeting request to another user, they receive a long
email message rather than options to post to their calendar

Since you are on different networks, you will need to manually force RTF on
all meeting requests you send as well as having your correspondent on the
other network doing the same. Requests sent over the Internet are normally
converted to plain text via Exchange - you need to manually set RTF by
either right clicking on the recipient address or double clicking it and
select Outlook Properties - change the option to send using Outlook Rich
Text Format.
