Setting up a new computer to manage our website

I've never used Front Page before, and we're setting up
my computer to edit our website. We're using FP 2000, my
machine is WinXP, and we can't figure out how set the
location of our website up in my machine; it insists on
establishing a subweb. We edit on the remote server, so I
need to establish our URL itself as the location. How do
I do this?

file/ close web.

file/ open web, type in the absolute url of your online web and it'll log
you on.
