setting the macro security level in access 2003

G

george

I cannot set the security level for macros in Access 2003.
On the help menu it say to go to
Tools>Macro...>Security>Security Level tab, but after I
navigate to Macro... there is no Security option. How do I
set the security level?

(I posted a message a while ago but a make a separate
entry for this one because I don't know if this problem is
related with the previous one)

Hi George,

Do the following:

1) Open Access 2003.

2) On the View menu, select Toolbars and click Customize.

3) On the Toolbars tab, select Menu Bar and click the Reset button. Click
Ok to
confirm the change and close the Customize dialog.

4) On the Tools menu, select Macros and click Security.

If this does not resolve the issue, try resetting Database Toolbar.

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
