setting the bios to use my tv as a monitor

I got this svideo cable to connect my computer to my tv,
it doesn't really work properly, i would like to know how
to set up from the bios or from windows my graphic card
so I could at least watch dvds on my tv with a decent
quality of image.

You need to set the rate to 800x600 and refresh at 66hz,
go into the advanced settings under monitor and you
should see an option that gives you the option to connect
to the tv, if you havn't you need to load the drivers for
your monitor again, apply everything and it should pop
up, you need to set the tv to one of the av channels, I
use an s video to scart converter for the back of my tv
so you can use the audio through the tv rather than the
pc, if that fails try shift and f10 or f12 to switch
between screens
