setting bullet style in text box using template

Does anyone know how to set the bullet style for text
boxes in a powerpoint template (master view)? I am able
to set the bullet style for normal text, but when I
create a new text box in a presentation, the bullet style
is set to the default powerpoint bullet style, not the
bullet style of my master slide.

I believe you need to format your textbox as you would like it then use "Set
Autoshape Defaults"
