Setting 2 decimal places in table doesn't update form?

Hi.

I have almost finished creating my form in Access, but just have a
slight problem. All the values were showing as more than 2 decimals
so I went back into the table and design view.

I have set it to 2 decimals in the field properties. Field size is
down as double, format is fixed, required and indexed are both set to
no.

After changing to 2 decimals it seems to look okay in the table, but
when I go back to the form it still shows more and less. I.E. 1
decimal, 3 decimals and 4 decimals etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I have very little knowledge of
Access, only Excel.

Thanks

John

Setting the number of decimals doesn't change the data that is stored, only
the way it is displayed. Also, a setting in the table will be passed on to
any new control created from that field, depending on how you create the
control. But, changing the setting after the controls on the form have been
created has no effect on those controls. You will need to open the form in
design mode and make the same change to the Properties of the control on the
form.
