Yes, you can add a password. Write it down somewhere and put it where you
will not lose it. This doesn't mean on a yellow Post-It stuck to your
monitor unless you live alone.

Malke,
Where do I add the password to the OS?

Sammy Castagna
There is no password for the OS because it uses NTAuthority credintials.
Accounts use passwords, and there is no account named NTAuthority. Your
problem is that the account you designated to run the scheduled task has no
password.

When logged on as administrator, go to the control panell, and select User
Accounts. You can set/unset passwords for any account there.

Running Scheduled Tasks without a password:

For Pro: Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Local Security
Policy/Local Policies/Security options. In the right hand pane (third down).

Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only.
This is enabled by default, disable it.

For Home: Run Scheduled Task without a Password (Line 68)
