Set up of sperate Inboxs for two or more email accounts

Hello all that read this.

I have just upgraded my Office 2000 to Office 2003. In my old outlook I was able to see my two previous email accounts in two separate inboxes and would be received and sent that way.

I have created the two internet pop 3 email accounts with success, but all my mail now is going into one inbox.

I want the mail separated from each email account that I have set up.

Anyone knows what I need to do to separate the inboxes so that the mail goes to its specific inbox that is associated to its email account.

Thanks to all who pass on there wisdom and guidance

Hi Remington,
i think you have created rules, to do so.
So please create rule like, if a mail come to (e-mail address removed) move to inbox 1 ....

Hi Andrew thanks for the reply, I didn't think I would have to do that , I have tried setting up a rule that way and it does not want to go into the inbox that I have set up. Still think that the inbox san be seperate to the other emails inbox

you'll need to use rules to move messages by account, but the junk email
rule will fail. instead, set up search folders for each account and keep
them in one inbox. You can manually move messages from the search folders to
a different pst if you want.
