How can I change the order in which Services Start or add
dependencies to services. I have a situation where
my "Network Connections" service does not start before
other services and I get a message that says "Could not
reconnect to all drives" and other services that require
the "Network Services" to be started and they wait until
it starts.

2) Alternatively, you can use sc.exe, a command tool that can be used to
modify services. The end result will be the same, and editing registry, as
instructed in the above article, is probably easier in this case.

All documentation of sc.exe that you can Google up is still valid, although
most of it will talk about NT4 resource kit. It works exactly the same with
XP and you should already have it, as it is now part of the default
installation.
