Service Pack upgrades

I am currently running Win 2000 Pro v5.0 SP1. What is the
correct path to upgrade to SP4 in order to ensure maximum
security? Can I leap-frog or must I upgrade to SP2, then
SP3, etc.

Currently I cannot take advantage of the new security
upgrades re: Worms/Viruses until I am up to at least SP2.

Yes, you can go right to SP4 from SP1.
