Service Pack Error

Every time I try to install Service Pack 4 I got an error
saying "The file c:\winnt\system32\dllcache\mshtml.tlb is
open or in use by another application. Close all other
applications and then click Retry". I closed every program
but I kept getting this error message so I decided to try
and reinstalling service pack 3. After uninstalling sp3 I
then went to install it and got the same message so now
I'm stuck with sp2. I've tried everything and looked all
over the web for help on this with no luck. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That file is used by Internet Explorer and/or Office. Are you closing IE
also? Maybe try repairing IE. Go into Add/Remove Programs and click
Internet Explorer and Change/Remove button. You should get an option to
Repair. If not, the other choice might be to uninstall. Don't do an
uninstall unless you have the file(s) necesary to reinstall it already
downloaded. Hoep this helps.
