service pack 4 uninstall

Josephine

I installed service pack 4 on one of the machines at work,
and now the machine is on an endless restarting cycle,
giving a blue screen error message while "applying
computer settings" and restarting. I can only get on it in
SafeMode.

unfortunately I chose to NOT archive files, so it's
difficult to uninstall. There's another computer here at
the office with the same platform, could anyone tell me
what directories are affected by SP4 so I can try
replacing the system files on the broken computer with the
other?

anyone think of any other solutions?

by the way, I second Alex's opinion that SP4 should not be
listed as a critical update.
