Service Pack 4 files

Hello,

Is there a listing anywhere of files that are either
updated or added to a system as result of installing Win2k
Service Pack 4? We are trying to flag and report those
systems and need a file name and attributes to key on.

Prescan, postscan with a tool like SYSDIFF.

Hi there

If you get the SP4 executable and run it with the -x switch, it will ask
your for a path to extract the files to. You'll then have all the version
numbers of all the files that ship with SP4 at your disposal.

Hope this helps

I don't understand? Do you just want to determine which boxes are
running SP4, or are you saying you want to do a full SysDiff audit? If
the latter, why?

You can use the files listed in NTServicePackUninstall or extract the .exe
and see the files that are changed.
