Service Pack 1 Integration with Windows XP Recovery Disk

I am having a difficult problem integrating Windows XP Service Pack 1a with Windows XP Home Edition. I followed all of the steps listed in the Support files, upon trying to update the Windows XP files on the computer that I copied from the CD, I get the following error:

" Integrated install failed. The language type or platform for the destination directory and Service Pack 1 must be the same. "

This seems strange because I just formatted and reinstaller Windows XP from my XP RECOVERY disk, so the files on the disk and on the computer are the same. Although I get that error everytime that I try to perform the integration, when I installed the Service Pack onto my computer everything works fine and installs/updates properly, yet I am still getting that error when I attempt the integration. I have searched the Support files, as well as numerous internet searches to no avail. Can someone please offer me some insight? Please email me in case I have troubles getting back to the newsgroups.

This could be caused by the name of the folder that you are using to
slipstream the media. Change the folder name for the installation source on
the hard drive. What is the exact command-line you are using for the
slipstream? What is the folder location of the SP1 files and the
installation source files when you execute the slipstream command? What is
the build of Windows XP on the CD? Is the language on the CD and the
language of SP1 that is downloaded the same?

This may never work since you are using a "Recovery CD." The recovery CD may
have been modified from the original Windows XP CD in such a way that
slipstreaming may not work. You can check with the computer manufacturer
about this.
