Does anybody here know where I could get a service manual for an HP
Photosmart 7350 (english or german one)? Thanks.

I doubt that as well. So, where to get a real service manual from for
the Photosmart 7350?

I've got a lot of HP service manuals, but not one for that printer.
What is the problem with the printer? Maybe someone here can help.

Well, the printer produces a shadowed print result. That is, it looks
like as if its head´s horizontal alignment is malfunctioning. And this
effect gets worse over time. Anyone got any idea to this problem?

I've seen ( and purchased ) CD ROMs on eBay with HP service information.
They were IIRC split into ink printers CD and laser printers CD. Each
contained information pertinent to ALL printers of the designated type. I
bought the laser one which was under $10 delivered. Well worth it.

I for one would be interested in this (particularly if it contains all
service manuals for all laser printers) I've bought a few from Ebay which
contain a few service manuals for some of the commoner/older HP lasers. But
I've never found one with even all the HP service manuals. Or that was
reasonably up to date. I'm still looking for the service manual for the
Hp4si in particular (it does exist!). The HP1320 was a rare one. The most
popular thing is to list a lot of manuals, but if you then look carefully,
you find you are actually buying a single manual (for 3 or $4 incl postage).

I suppose it is a good thing that they are available through Ebay, as you
can't get them anywhere else unless you work for HP. AFAICT, or are prepared
to pay an really extortionate price from an 'official dealer'

There is no service manual for the Photosmart 7350. This is another
one of the HP 'disposable' line.

I carry ALL of the HP LaserJet manuals on both my sites at

eBay is cheap. The manual on eBay are not the same as the manuals I
carry. You also don't get the customer service from eBay that I give.

Respectfully, what is the difference? Lots of people say that their wares
are better than the competition's but I'm wondering how your manual for my
LJ 1200 is different from the one provided on my CD-ROM smorgashbord of
printer manuals? Mine sure looks like factory HP stuff to me. I'll admit
that there is very little in the way of board level diagnostics and
troubleshooting. Lots of 'If THIS happens then change THAT part' repair
guidance. I've certainly gotten my $10 back out of this volume.

Most of the manuals come as separate files, the service manual and the
parts manual. That's why you'll see listings on eBay such as xxx SM or
xxx Parts Catalog. Some guys don't even tell you what the manual is
either parts,service or user manual.

1- I combine the Parts manual with the Service Manual.
2- I insert bookmarks and highlight them for easier locating.
3- I delete blank pages to make the files smaller.
4- I make the files printable and for pages to be extracted.
5- I optimize the files for faster web viewing.

My single manuals at http://www.justmanuals.com are priced at $10.79
and are all instant download.

To make them unnecessarily big?

If you need to buy parts, then the hp partsurfer is the place to go

http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main

This gives a much more up to date view of the parts actually available for
your HP printer than any parts manual, you can view diagrams (or even print
them out) of ever part of your printer
2- I insert bookmarks and highlight them for easier locating.

The real hp manual have prefectly good indexes, what's wrong with them?
3- I delete blank pages to make the files smaller.

That's important?
4- I make the files printable and for pages to be extracted.

Eh? All HP manuals come as printable pdfs anyway from which you can print
whatever pages you want
5- I optimize the files for faster web viewing.

Simply don't know what this means. But is this worth $10.79?

Theres a specific HP service manual for a printer or a range of printers,
there's even a part number for it. Anyone who buys a user manual as a parts
or service manual is about as crazy as anyone who pays $10.79 for a single
manual of any sort, which as a pdf costs nothing to send by email anyway.
Not that you seem to do even that!

No so the tech has all the info in 1 file

Sure the partsurfer is great, but out in the file, some people don't
have web access
