server2k3 printer permissions/remote desktop

Sorry for the cross post. Not sure where to put this one.

I have a server running 2k3 with multiple clients connecting via remote
desktop. every time they connect, i have to reset the permissions on their
printers to allow them to print to each other's printers. Is there a way to
do this other than to map each one individually? some of them connect with a
vpn, and that's not possible.

I just want to set the default permissions on all printers so that everyone
can print.

Any ideas? Thanks

Hi
If the printers are locally installed on the server, you can define the
permissions that you need. If the printers are in a different server you
need to define the permissions on that print server.

The printers are actually being connected to the server through a Remote
Desktop connection. there are a few people that connect via remote desktop
to the server, and i want them to be able to print to each other's printers.
Is there a setting I can set the default so anyone can print anywhere, even
to remote desktop connected printers?

I assume that the printers are actually connected to the workstations, and
the workstations are connecting to a server via RDP. I assume that the
workstations are sharing their printers, and that other users are attempting
to connect to them through the typical UNC path. If so, then I would think
the only requirement would be to establish the network connections, whether
directly or through VPN, so that these workstations appear on the network,
shares and all.

Or are you having to do something actually through the terminal server by
sharing out a local connection back to the printer?
