Hi,
I have 2 PCs (Server : XP Pro and Client : Win2K Pro) which networked
together with a cross-over Cat 5 cable. Both of them working Fine with ICS
and Files Sharing. My Problem is Some Times ..my Server PC will "HANG" when
the Client PC is connected ....maybe in Few days or weekly once !! Already
try to change the (Broadband NIC) or (ICS NIC) connection socket ..It STILL
the same. This is some detail about my setting for the NIC Card : Broadband
NIC : IP 192.168.1.2 / 255.255.255.0 Getway 192.168.1.1 Server ICS NIC:
192.168.0.1 / 255.255.255.0 Client NIC: Auto IP . Try to setup the
Client NIC in Fix IP .. Files Sharing working .. But ICS Don't !! Hope some
one can Help me about it ... THANKS.

It could be an IRQ conflict.
Go to START - RUN and type MSINFO32.EXE.
Open 'hardware resources' - 'confict sharing" -
If NIC is here then it is sharing IRQ.
Open up your casing and see if your netwotk card is plugged next to you AGP
card. If so remove it and place into another slot further from the AGP.
Hope this works.
