server error when publishing

Following message appears when I try to publish:
Server error: The folder that would hold
URL 'xxx/_overlay/xxx.htm_nav_blends010_hbtn.gif" does
not exist on the server.
Publishing is not successful.
Have recalulated hyperlinks with no success.
Any suggestions?
