"Server" ddram

Hi,
I have been browsing through eBay looking for some pc2100 ddram
for an Abit KR7A-133 motherboard.

I notice that there is quite a number of items for sale that
quote "server" ddram, mostly including ecc, which the Abit board can
utilise. It is generally (if not always) 184 pin, which is ok.

Is there any difference between "normal ddram" and "server
ddram"?

It's a vaguely defined term, but it always seems to include ecc,
and usually registered. Often enough, it also includes 4 bit
width device chips.
