Server Crashing 0x00000044 bugcheck SQL based app running on deskt

A customer of mine has a SQL 2k SP3 server running on Win2K SP4.

They have Frameworks software that has to be running on the desktop (can't
run as a service) for clients to connect to.

We believe this software is causing memory leaks because it is regularly
crashing with the following bug check:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Save Dump
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1001
Date: 23/04/2005
Time: 20:30:32
User: N/A
Computer: ####SQL2K
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000044
(0x883b0008, 0x00000cca, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000
[v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP

When i look this error up anywhere i can only find details when the error
reports MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

The software supplier has no known issues like this.

Can anyone provide further info on the bug check please?

I'm not sure whether a user mode application can cause this error. Does
the SQL server have kernel mode componets? How about analyzing the crash
dump?
