Server access denied

M

Matt

My XP client has suddenly become unavble to access the
server when logged on as a particular user. Other users
can access the server from this computer, and this user
can access the server from other computers. I guess this
means that the local user account has become corrupted on
the local computer, and perhaps a system restore is the
way to go.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Note the server user
is OK as it can access resources from other computers.
Thanks in advance.
Matt

Hi Matt,

I know that the problem could be solved by moving this users folder to
another location (from documents nad settings) and then log on again as this
user.
You could have saved credentials of another user on this user profile. So
when you are trying to connect to server you do not send your credentials.
Try system restore. If That does not help try removing all mapped network
drives and then reconnect to server. Otherwise move folder like described
before..
