server 2003 - how do I turn off time provider?

Sonce upgrading to 2003 I'm getting an error message ID 29 saying " The time
provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from one or more time
sources, however none of the sources are currently accessible. No attempt to
contact a source will be made for 15 minutes. NtpClient has no source of
accurate time."
I gather that some sort of time reference needs setting, but can find
nothing in the help that tells me how to set it. I'm happy doing it manually
once in a while (single domain, 3 servers, nothing complicated), so how do I
turn off this feature? I can't find a service running called ntpclient or
w32time, so where does it lurk?

Try use net time commando with nosync option.

Thanks -after setting it to nosysnc and restarting the time service, I've had
no more errors. What I don't understand is why a setting like this has to be
changed by a registry edit, and why these settings aren't listed in help. I
just bought a Microsoft press book "Windows Server 2003 -administrator's
Pocket Consultant" and it says "click the Date & Time in control panel and
select Network Time tab.- select Automatically synchronize with an internet
time server". It would seem the obvious thing to, but there's no such option
in my version of windows server. Where does the author get this from?
