Server 2003 as member server

Hi,

Is it possible to add a Windows Server 2003 to a Windows 2000 domain
as a member server? We have 2 Server 2003 machines (pre-installed OS)
donated to one of our faculty by Dell. He wants to give them to
students as workstations (huh?). I've got one of the machines up
on our network, but I cannot get it to join the domain. (It can ping
the servers.) Should this be possible?

If not, and I install Windows XP Professional, will it see and utilize
two processors?

Thanks,
Sandy

Yes, you can add Windows Server 2003 as a member server. I believe you must be
running SP3 or greater on the Windows 2000 DCs.
Yes, XP Pro will use the 2 processors.
