Serious Question: Can I go back to OL 2000 from OL 2003?

I upgraded from OL 2K to OL 2003 and it is a JOKE! It crashes every 30-45
minutes; my Norton AntiSpan doesn't work; MS reformatted most of the
creens --- unnecessarily; etc. Anyway, does anyone know whether I can go
back to OL 2K and preserve my folders, contacts, etc.?

TIA,

Well you can; uninstall it. If you created an Outlook 2003 pst-file check
here;

Don't you rather want to solve your Outlook 2003 issues?
Start by recreating your mail profile so you remove all the old Outlook 2000
registry entries out of it;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles

Then make sure all your add-ins are up to date and compatible with Outlook
2003. Check this with the add-in developer/supplier

Thanks, Tom. I will follow your advice and look at slipstick. My
frustration is with the "creative" changes that MS makes with each new
version. In my opinion there are people in Redmond that think that each new
version of a product must look entirely different then the last or it won't
sell. This just causes confusion (read: BAD press) with the public.

Oh, well. It's not your problem. Thanks for letting me vent.

FWIW, in this case, it's apparently not whim. According to Microsoft, the
user interface changes in Outlook 2003 were based on a large quantity of
usability research, especially how people process their email messages.
