Sent messages are not going to the SENT ITEMS folder

When I send messages in Outlook 2000, sent messages are
not going into the Sent Items folder.

I've got the check box set at Tools, Options, E-Mail
Options, Save Copies of Sent Messages in Sent Items
Folder.

It seems it was working, but not for the past three days.

Any ideas? I'm using Windows XP Home, Office 2000.
