Hi,

been using a combination of Outlook (since 97 version) and Exchange
Server 5.5 for years. A few days ago upgraded to 2003. I have to mail
accounts: one is POP3/SMTP for external mail, and the other is the
Exchange Server account for internal mail (SBS 2000 server).

I used to have the POP3/SMTP account to be processed first and the
Exchange Server second. When I sended a e-mail for an internal contact
it was sended correct. The same happened to the external mail.

But now with Outlook 2003 when I send an e-mail to a internal contact
I recieve a few seconds later a message from my ISP SMTP server say
that the account (e-mail address removed) dosent exist. It seems that now
Outlook 2003 is not "smart enough" the see that is an internal contact
and send it to the Exchange Server.

If I invert the order of processing the accounts what happen is I can
send to both internal and external but the information of reply
address is my internal e-mail.

Is there an option in Outlook 2003 to put it back like it was in
Outlook XP or 2002?

That seems to be an issue with OL2003. Many have reported this same thing.

Choose the account from which the message is to be sent using the Accounts
button on the Compose window button bar.
