Sending Mail

I have no problems when sending, forwarding or replying to mail from my home.
But when I am trying to send from another persons house or hotel or a WiFi
hotspot I get a reply saying error.

That's because you are trying to send thru your email server while connected
to another ISP. Most of them will no longer allow that. If your email
provider has an authenticated SMTP server, then use that.
If not, you can sign up for a Gmail account, enable POP on that, and use
their SMTP server to send from anywhere.
