Sending Group Emails

Hi,

Windows XP Pro, Office 2007, Outlook 2007 (part of Office Pro Plus 2007)

1. I want to create a new address book for up to 1,000 names and email
addresses. I can create a new Distribution List but that's not what I want to
do. How do I create a second address book/list for this purpose?

2. Is there a limit as to how many email addresses can be included in the
"send to" section?

3. Is there a way to hide the email addresses so the recipient only sees a
generic group name?

4. Is there a way to set up Outlook to send emails to a group of people -
not as a group email, but individual emails - without having to type and send
the message one at a time?

Thanks!

Outlook doesn't really have 'address books'. They use Contacts folders.
You can simply create a new contact folder the same way you create any
folder and you can import from a CSV file into that folder.

In Outlook? No limits that I'm aware of. You'll want to talk to whoever
runs the mail server to see if they limit it.

Sure. BCC them and put some address on the To line that you want them to
see -or- create the distribution list on a server
4. Is there a way to set up Outlook to send emails to a group of people -

It is called a Mail Merge. Check online help.
