Sending files in XP

I

Using Windows XP. I have some photos in a file on my desktop. A relative
would like to see these photos. Several photos make a very large file. If
I send this file to this person as an email, will they be able to use this
file to look through my hard drive and explore my computer?

How would they? Once you've sent it, it's sent - and done. And
presumably all you are sending are the photo attachments.

Photos do not have this capability.

The problem that you may run into is that the email is simply too large for
one or both of the email servers, and is never sent or delivered.
