Sending emails through access

P

Pietro

HI,

While trying to send emails through access, outlook prompts "A program is
trying to send an email on your behalf. Do you want to allows this"

Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening ?
I'm trying to send several emails at once and its a big nuisance to have to
click yes each time.
I tried to search the web but i could not an easy way,can anybody post
the code here?

Yes - you can send your mail via an external mail server

BUT DON'T

You may lose all your customers - the outlook warning is there for a reason.
It lets you know if (as it says) a programme is trying to send an e mail.
If you don't see this warning you could send out "anything" to anyone without
knowing. Or - more likely your mail account could be parsed to send on mails
on behalf of an outside server - so you could be sending millions of mails
(normally over night) without even knowing - your IP address would then be
blocked by many of the mail severs around the world and then ...... well you
get the idea
ect
ect

leave the outlook warning where it is. It's a good thing (if slightly
irritateing)

Pietro,
That's probably due to your Outlook security settings, or your Firewall
settings.
Try a Google search with...
"A program is trying to send an email on your behalf"
