Sending e-mail

I have a membership data base. Most but not all member's records includes an
e-mail address. How do I use this to send a general announcement to the
members with e-mails?

I simply do a manual copy/paste of the emails into Outlook.....

One can copy the whole column and paste it ....

not sure if this helps....

I know this can be done but I don't want to add several hundred e-mails to
my address book. Hoping there was another, more direct way, that by-passes
Outlook Express.

oh you do not have to add them to your address book....

Create the email by putting in your own email address so you are sending it
to yourself....also put your own email address in the bcc field (which then
activates the bcc section...)

Then you can copy the email addresses into the bcc field.

This presumes that using the bcc is the politically correct method of not
exposing everyone's email to everyone else...if that is not an issue for you
then you can use the normal To: field ....

I have found that in the current versions of Outlook and Outlook Express
that it works fine and will even auto add the format separation.....give it a
try....
