Sending Distribution List Data

I would like to know if it's possible to send Contact Info on an entire
distribution list to someone else using Outlook. For instance, i've sent a
*VCF business card from Outlook to someone that contains the contact info,
but I would like to send contact information on my child's entire preschool
class to a new student ... is there a quick and easy way to do this instead
of "Sending Business Cards" of each child's info?

Distribution Lists contain no contact information (other than name and email
address), so I don't see how it would be possible.

Sometimes I just want to send the name and e-mail but I've never succeeded
at that. I've tried e-mailing a distribution to my earthlink account using
vcard format and outlook format on, with no success. I need to use the
earthlink account for certain secure wehbsites that will not take e-mails
with attachments from our own SMTP server while they trust Earthlink's
server.

Save the D/L as a text file and email that.

Sorry Brian - I uised the wrong term when I used "contact info". I meant
the entire list of names and e-mail addresses in the distribution list. I've
not succeeded in doing this and wanted to know if it was even possible.

If you compose a Rich Text message and attach the DL to that message, if the
recipient also uses Outlook, he or she should be able to open the attachment
and save it to the Contacts folder or just drag it from the message to the
folder. I've also done with with Plain Text messages, but other posts in
these newsgroups indicate that might not always work, so try it with Rich
text.

While in Outlook Contacts you can select the contact (distribution list),
then edit, copy and copy the contact (distribution list) into the body of an
email.
