You should ask this question in a newsgroup that supports your email application.
Often, to ZIP a file all you need to do is to right-click on the file name and
select a ZIP option to create a copy of the file.
Once you have a zipped file, you can attach that to your email. In Outlook
2003 you can open a new message and drag the zip file to the message pane for
the file to be automatically attached. OR you can find the menu item to attach
a file.
