Send to Mail Recipient missing from menu

I have an XP SP2 machine that is missing the send to-mail recipient
option in the context menu. This is only on one profile on the
machine, all other profiles function normally. When this began, I
found that the Send To folder in the docs and settings folder of the
affected profile was missing, so I copied the Send To folder from one
of the other functioning profiles, but that did nothing. I deleted the
mail recipient.mapimail file and recreated it, but that didn't work
either. I also unregistered and registered sendmail.dll, with no
effect either. Now I'm stumped.
Any ideas?
TIA

Is this a sudden, new problem or an ongoing one? Did you just create this
User Profile?

The default Mail Client installed for this User Profile is...?

The default Mail Client for the other Profiles is...?

This is a sudden problem, as it was working one day and then not the
next. The user profile has been active for about 4 months with no
issues. The default mail client for all profiles is MS Outlook 2003.

Crossposted to Outlook General newsgroup.

Try an Office Repair or uninstall/reinstall Office 2003...then install
Office 2003 SP3.

When you say "in the context menu", you mean the context menu in Word
2003, Excel 2003, or Powerpoint 2003, correct? Outlook must be the same
version as the other Office programs for the "send to mail recipient"
option to work. If yes, then see
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=834008 "You cannot send a document as
an e-mail message from an Office 2003 program".
