I have a OL 2007 that is on a SBS 2003 that everytime they send an email the
send/receive displays sending mutilple emails when only one is in the Outbox
(ie. sending 4 of 4). The Sent Items box shows only that one email

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

No reason to post multiple times.

I'll bet you have multiple accounts defined. Outlook 2007 has a bug that
will show a sending number that is based on the number of accounts you have.
It's cosmetic and shouldn't bother you much.

Brian,

Sorry for the multiple post, but after I pressed the submit button, the next
windows just hung there for 3-4 minutes. I went to the newsgroup posting
after about 15 minutes and my question was not posted. So I posted it again.
I guess there was a lag.

Anyhow, thanks for your response. I will inform my client of the bug in
Outlook and assure him that it is not an issue.

I had just spent many hours cleaning his computer and unblocking his email
account from SPAM blockers due to his email address being hijacked because of
his delivery status notification settings. And I was just covering the bases
and noticed this issue.

Thanks again.

Verify for us if, in fact, he has multiple accounts defined.
