Send/Receive Option Disappears

I'm using Outlook 2003. New install. Wizard email test confirms all
addresses and settings ok. OS is Win2K Pro.

When Outlook starts up the Send/Receive toolbar button and Tools Menu option
appear briefly (2 or 3 seconds) and then disappear.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

No, I wasn't able to solve the problem. I finally gave up, reformated the
hard drive and reloaded - that fixed it!
