send/receive groups window gone!

I for some reason no longer have the "send/Receive Groups" window when I
select Tools > Options > Mail Setup. When I click on the Send/Receive button
in the Options window... nothing happens. To receive new email I have to
close Outlook and restart. I can't even click on send/receive button in
Outlook opening window. I am running Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
Professional Edition. Any ideas???

Here's what I'd try.

1) WIth Outlook closed, delete or rename the file
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\mailprofile.SRS, where "mailprofile" is your
mail profile name. The %AppData% folder is a hidden folder, but if you open
Windows Explorer and put "%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook" in the Address field
and click Go, you should see it.
2) Create a new mail profile, pointing it at your existing PST, if you use
one.
