Send /Receive fails with "Some errors occurred"...et al

Hello

Winmail with 3 accounts, Vista 64
Not sure just when WinMail started doing this, open application > send
/receive all works the first time. If the app is left open and user cliks
on send/receive a second time, the app fails with "Some errors occurred
while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors
below for more details." The errors tab is empty.

Closing the app and restarting fixes the send /receive option until the user
repeats the send /receive in the same session, then the error message
occurs. Using each of send all or receive all or each of the account
options works any number of times, it appears to only be associated with the
combined option to send/receive.

I have tried disabling and/or uninstalling the Avast antivirus program,
neither option made a difference to the error above. All accts have
passwords properly set and options to "include this acct when receiving
mail..et al" which makes sense or the receive all or send all wouldn't work.

Compacted the mail store at least 10X!!

Anyone have any thoughts on this one
Thanks

When you installed the avast! program, did you use the standard
install? If so, it may help to uninstall it and then do a custom install
where you tell it to leave out the part that scans email.

You might also click on Tools, then Options, then Send. If there
is no check mark in the box before Send messages immediately,
click on this box and then Apply. Click on OK.

Thanks Robert....none of the suggestions helped, but thanks
Guess I just won't hit send/receive more than once in any one session

:)
