Send / Receive At Startup ...

Kenneth

Just updated to Outlook 2003 (running Windows XP) and it
will not send/receive messages at startup of the
program. I have to manually press the Send/Receive
button in the tool bar. I have all my settings correct
in the Send/Receive Settings:

* Group Name = All Accounts
* Send/Receive when = Online and Offline
* Settings for group "All Accounts"
[X} Include the group in send/receive (F9)
* When Outlook is offline
[X} Include the group in send/receive (F9)

I have even tried the Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
312336 which touches base with this problem but to no
avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you set a polling interval? The "automatice send/receive every xx
minutes" is what forces a send/receive on startup.
