Send problem with Outlook.

Hello,
My wife asked me about an Outlook problem she has at work. It seems she
can only send mail via a reply. She cannot enter an address into the send
box. I do not know what error message she gets, only that she is tols to
renter the address every time. I know she is on a network with about 6 other
users. I also know they have just made changes to the network. She is
running win.2000 pro. I am pretty sure they have Exch. Server.
What puzzles me is that, she is the only one in the office with this
issue. All other users can both send and reply with no trouble.
Since she is the only one with this problem, does that rule out a
problem with the mail server? Could it be a configuration problem only on
her machine?
The only answer she has gotten from the admin. is that she is not in
the right order of some box number on the network. I have no idea what this
means.
I am sorry if this is not enough info but it is all I have. I bet her
20 bucks I could get an answer here from an MVP.
Thanks for your time,
Ron J

Well you won that 20 bucks then but it it's hard to give any specific answer
with this amount of info.

To me it sounds she has more than one account configured and the default one
is not configured properly. Since mails are being received by a properly
configured secondary account and replying goes through the account it's
being received with, sending will work on replies.

So the answer would be; double check the account settings in Tools-> E-mail
Accounts
