Send mail from contact reverts to Eudora

We converted from Eudora to Outlook 2003. Most of the time e-mail opens
in Outlook. But if you right-click on an e-mail address in a Contact
record, Eudora opens instead of Outlook.

I'm confused - right-clicking on a contact's email address doesn't open
anything, really - it gives you a context menu. What are you choosing in
there?
What's your default mail client? (control panel, internet options, programs)

In the context menu we are choosing "send mail".
Our default mail client is Microsoft Office Outlook

This issue is not critical since we can send mail the usual ways, but
it is
rather puzzling.

Thanks,
Kisu

So you're in Outlook. You've opened a contact. You're right-clicking on the
email address within that contact, and choosing send mail, and Eudora is
opening?

Odd - but does this happen for everything?
If you have Outlook open, select (don't open) a contact, right-click on it,
and choose send mail, what happens?
If you click on a mailto: link on a web page, etc., what opens?

Have you tried setting the default client to eudora, applying, then
resetting it back to Outlook?
