Send email to an alias.

my company has setup an alias (e-mail address removed). I would like to send an email
using this email address instead of my normal corproate address. How can i
do this through outlook , we are on an exchange server 2003...? MY normal
email is (e-mail address removed). My alias is working for receiving, any email sent to
(e-mail address removed) comes to (e-mail address removed).

Again, sending emails to this alias is working no problem...
but users want to send emails to outsiders and making (e-mail address removed) appear
to the receivers.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

You need to put (e-mail address removed) in the From field.

I tried it but doesn't work.
This 'From' field makes sense...but i have a feeling that there's something
else i need to config. Thanks for the lead.

You can not do that in your Exchange/Outlook environment natively.
