Send e-mail by dial-up - receive by broadband

Tricky little problem here - My PC is connected to Broadband and my
wife's is networked onto mine. Our ISP (Waitrose) doesn't support
broadband (as far as I know), so we can't send e-mails using Waitrose
but it happily receives them on broadband. I'm quite happy to use
Hotmail to send but my wife wants to keep her e-mail address and be
able to send her mails as she always did.

The problem we have is that I can either set up Outlook so that it
always requires dial-up or uses the network to get onto broadband -
which means she can't send anything. I was hoping that I could set up
Outlook to just use dialup to SEND an E-mail but to be able to RECEIVE
mails on broadband. I setup Internet Explorer to run on the
network/broadband but this just overwrites my Outlook setup.

Anybody any ideas how to get round this little problem??

Thanks

Assuming you have setup a dialup connection for Waitrose, and that you have
a std modem connected. Simply setup an account, in OL, to use the Waitrose
dialup connection. you can set other OL options as you require. When you
compose a new msg you can then select the account with which to send it.
When you 'send' this msg it will then dial the waitrose dialup, it might
also be an idea to set it to disconect after sending.
BTW have you tried setting up an OL account, using the broadband connection,
with the Waitrose SMTP and POP3 settings. To see if the send/receive
functions

If you have broadband doesnt the supplier also provide multiple email
addressses?
