Let's have a look at the full command that chops off half the message!

net send * "message text" is the command form the command line.

I tried this myself a moment ago and I got the full message. Perhaps
the problem lies with your machine, not with "net send".

That was asample text. If you use the text such as pleas logg of the server
at 4:00 PM as we are updating it. This wikll affect users only in the main
locations. We appoligize for the inconvenence this may cause.?

Hmm. I thought I wrote in my first reply "Let's have a look
at the full command that chops off half the message!" When
it comes to trouble-shooting, a "sample text" is not exactly
the same as the "full command" . . .

#Anyway, I tried your full message (" pleas logg of the server

may cause.") and it worked too. I suspect that you wrote it
with line breaks between the lines. They won't get picked
up by the net send command.#

And just for fun I sent the whole paragraph, i.e. the words
between the two hash characters. It arrived too, after I had
removed the line breaks with notepad.exe.

Generally, I recommend using Net Send command to do this job.
