Selecting objects from the Custom Animations window

I read the posting on 4/23/07 (Editing Multiple Animated Text Boxes)
regarding switching between objects and have had the same problem of getting
to the desired object. Tabbing works fine if there are few object but
sometimes I have many objects on a slide and on several layers. I am using
PPT 2002.

What would be a big help is to be able to select the animation and then have
the associated object be seleected too. This seems so obvious that maybe
there is a way to do it.

Thanks,
Bonsai Bill

I totally agree with your suggestion. You may be relieved to realize that
you can rename objects in PPT 2007, and that name shows up in the animation
pane. This makes selecting a LOT easier.

Also, you actually do the renaming in the "selection and visibility" pane --
where you can select objects, reorder them, etc. Life's much easier now. ;-)

Hi Echo,

Let's hope that the posting gets enough votes to warrant the change!
