Select All Records from Drop Down list

is there a way to select all using a drop down list?

I would like to give the users the option to select all available
departments from the drop down list when they want to query all records
rather than just one item.

What about including a selection " All Departments" (the space should put
this up at the top) in the data source for the combo box? This is easily
done if the combo box is based on a value list. Otherwise, you could add
this to the data table or create a temporary table with this record and then
use a UNION SELECT query to populate your combo box. The resulting query,
form, report, or code would then look for " All Departments" and process it
as required (e.g. Departments Like "*"). HTH
